Disability Studies, Feminist Theory & Representation
I designed this 400 level undergraduate course and served as Ph.D. Candidate-Instructor for students enrolled in 'Special Topics in Disability Studies,' cross-listed through the Comparative History of Ideas (CHID,) Disability Studies, and Law and Social Justice programs at the University of Washington. The course introduced students to topics in feminist and postcolonial disability studies with a focus on cultural and political representational analysis.
Introduction to Globalization
This 100 level University of Washington course broadly introduces topics in global development to entry-level undergraduate students. This section illustrates my teaching strategies, experiences, and material design as a Pre-Doc Teaching Associate across my three weekly course sections.
Approaches to Cultural Research
This 300 level course at the University of Washington Bothell introduces topics in Cultural Studies research practices to undergraduate students enrolled in the Interdisciplinary Arts and Sciences program. I served as Graduate Teaching Intern for the course during my final quarter of masters work and course Teaching Assistant through my post-graduation Office of Undergraduate Research staff position. The course asks students to think through what culture is, what it does, and how it has influenced their lives both historically and in the current moment. This page documents my guided workshop activities, class facilitations, and student interactions.
