IN CLASS WORKSHOPS & ACTIVITIES

These hands-on group and class activities are designed to help students learn to apply some of the more difficult course concepts to both their own research projects and in their daily lives. We draw from daily news events, historical marketing materials, and a variety of entertainment and cultural platforms to understand how disability intersects across multiple identities and contexts.

Students apply representational analysis techniques and course theory to videos of Disability Performances across cultural and global contexts.
